Streetwear clothing manufacturer, from graphic tees to jackets

We make streetwear to your pattern as Custom (Made to Order) from 50 pieces a color, whether it's a first drop of graphic tees or a season of fleece, cargo pants and jackets. Boutiques and online stores that want a shape already on the market can buy it from factory stock as Ready-made (Stock Match) and add their own label and print.

Fits and sizing

We cut oversized, cropped boxy and regular tops, and baggy, straight or tapered pants. Your tech pack is enough for us to draw the pattern, and so is a photo of a similar piece with notes on what to change.

Measurement, sample sizeHow it's taken
Tops
Chest widthLaid flat, 1 inch under the armholes
Body lengthHigh point of the shoulder down to the hem
Shoulder widthSeam to seam over the back, with the seams 1–4 inches below the natural shoulder line on an oversized cut
Sleeve lengthAlong the sleeve, starting at the dropped seam
Sleeve openingLaid flat, straight across the hem of the sleeve
Pants
WaistLaid flat, straight along the waistband's upper edge

ThighLaid flat, 1 inch below the crotch
Leg openingLaid flat across the hem
InseamAlong the inner leg seam, crotch to hem

We then grade the pattern, which means scaling it up and down to every size in the order without losing the proportions. You can split the 50 in a color across XXS to 6XL however you like, even a single piece in one size. Sizes from 4XL up take more fabric, and we price them 15% higher.

We suggest a size set when the range reaches 4XL. Samples in the smallest and the largest size come first, and we cut the order after you approve them.

We recommend 220–280 gsm jersey for oversized and boxy tees, heavy enough to keep the shape.

Cargo pants

We cut cargo pants from cotton twill or ripstop of 270–320 gsm. Ripstop has a grid of heavier threads woven in that stops small tears from spreading. Canvas from 340 gsm up makes a stiffer, wider-standing leg.

The leg pockets can be flat patch pockets or bellows pockets, which have a folded side panel and open out when they're full. Flaps close with buttons, snaps or hook-and-loop tape. We bartack pocket corners and belt loops, the points that take the most pull, with short blocks of dense zigzag stitching. Hem drawcords or snap tabs let the wearer gather a wide leg at the ankle.

Washes and garment dye

We wash or dye Custom orders once they're sewn, while Ready-made pieces come to us as the factory finished them. Washed or dyed styles carry no separate wash fee and sit at the higher end of the Custom price range.

FinishThe lookGood on
Acid washHigh-contrast marbled streaksDark hoodies and tees
Stone washA faded, worn-in look and softer fabricTwill and canvas pants and work jackets, with zips closed and covered in the drum
Enzyme washSofter fabric and less surface fuzz, with little color lossPieces with metal zips or buttons, or a softer feel without the worn look
Garment dyeSolid color dyed after sewing, slightly lighter or darker at seams and ribbingTees, hoodies and sweatpants in a lived-in color

No two acid-washed pieces match, and garment-dye shades shift slightly between dye batches. We compare the bulk shade with your approved sample before packing.

If the whole order has to match exactly, we dye the fabric to your color before cutting. We charge $80–150 to dye a 50 kg lot of jersey or fleece and quote twill and canvas colors separately.

Cotton jersey and fleece shrink 3–5% in their first wash. Send the measurements you want on the washed garment. We wash a swatch of the bulk fabric the same way before cutting and enlarge the pattern by whatever the swatch loses.

Prints

We screen-print solid-color artwork that runs across the whole order. Screens cost $15–45 each, one per color and made once per design, and printing costs $0.50–1.20 per piece for each color and print position, on Custom and Ready-made orders.

Artwork with gradients, photos or many colors goes on as DTF instead, a printed film pressed onto the garment. It needs no screens, and DTF costs $1.50–3.50 per piece for a print up to 8.3 × 11.7 inches in any number of colors. DTF works on cotton, polyester and nylon. Large solid areas of it feel a little stiffer than screen-printed ink.

We need puff lines and details at least 1/16 inch wide. Anything finer blurs and runs together as the ink rises in the dryer, and we print it flat beside the raised areas instead. Puff prints well on the jersey weights we recommend for oversized tees and on hoodie fleece. Lighter jersey shifts and wrinkles in the dryer and leaves the puff uneven. We quote puff from your artwork, and the price rises with the ink colors and print positions in it.

We print after the wash or dye, or before it if you want the print to fade with the garment. Prints that cross a seam or run down a sleeve have to go on the cut panels before sewing. They then go through the wash with the rest of a washed style and come out faded. Ready-made pieces arrive sewn, and we print them one panel at a time.

Embroidery

Digitizing turns your artwork into a stitch file and costs $10–75 once per design. Stitching then costs $1–3 per 1,000 stitches. A full back design on a hoodie or jacket runs to 10,000 stitches or more. Heavy jackets are harder to hoop on the machine and cost more to embroider than fleece.

3D puff embroidery lifts the design on a foam insert hidden under the stitches. It suits bold block lettering with strokes 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide, and script or serifs lose their shape in it.

Inspection and Launch Kit

Our inspectors check every Custom piece against your signed-off sample and measure the chest, sleeve and body length. All three have to come within 3/8 inch of the spec.

We inspect a random sample of every Ready-made batch and take the sample size from the ISO 2859-1 sampling tables at the standard's default General Inspection Level II. We pass the batch when major faults in the sample stay within AQL 2.5 and minor faults within AQL 4.0. AQL stands for acceptable quality limit, and a lower number allows fewer faults in the sample.

We replace any faulty piece we find in a passing sample before shipping. If you'd rather have every Ready-made piece checked, full inspection costs $0.18 each.

We photograph the batch at inspection and make the free Launch Kit for every style from those photos.
