Swimwear manufacturer making bikinis, board shorts and rash guards
Fifty matching bikini sets in one color are enough for us to sew a Custom (Made to Order) run to your own pattern. One-pieces, trunks and rash guards start at 50 pieces in one color, in whatever sizes you need. With Ready-made (Stock Match) orders, we put your brand on 50 or more pieces of a style that's already in a Chinese factory's range.

Women's swimwear
For customers with a D cup or larger, we grade bikini tops and one-pieces by bra size, such as 34D. Those tops have an underwire and a band that hooks closed.
Styles with more coverage run from tankinis and swim dresses to long-sleeve one-pieces and burkinis. Any of them can have a tummy-control panel of 160–200 gsm power mesh behind the front.

Men's swimwear
Our board shorts and swim trunks are woven polyester microfiber.
| Detail | Board shorts | Swim trunks |
|---|---|---|
| Waist | Fixed | Elastic band and drawcord |
| Sizes | By waist in inches | Usually XS to XL |
| Length down the outseam | 17–21 inches | Mostly 15–17 inches |
| Liner | None | Optional mesh brief or compression short |

Kids' swimwear
Kids' sizes run from baby swimsuits to rash guards and trunks for 12-year-olds. In the US, any swimwear made for children 12 or younger requires a Children's Product Certificate. On duty-paid orders, we're the importer of record and issue that certificate.
We send the swimsuits to a third-party lab that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has accepted. Lead tests at the lab cover only the prints and trims. You pay $50–250 for each one, at the lab's own rate.
In December 2020, CPSC announced a recall of about 181,000 infant and toddler rash guard swimsuits whose snaps could come off. We can add a snap pull test to the lab order for baby swimsuits that close with snaps.
Our hooded cover-ups for kids sized 2T to 12 have no hood drawstring, which US rules ban in those sizes. Kids' swim trunks keep their waist drawcord. We sew a permanent tracking label printed with the batch number into every piece.

Fabric and prints
The swim fabric we start from is 80% nylon or polyester and 20% elastane. Its lining is a lighter knit of 130–135 gsm.
On Custom orders for swimsuits that see regular pool use, we can switch to chlorine-resistant fabric made with protected spandex or with PBT polyester in place of plain elastane.
UPF 50 is the lowest rating The Skin Cancer Foundation accepts for its Seal of Recommendation on clothing. Before a UPF number goes on your rash guard labels, we have the fabric tested to AATCC TM183 and bill you the lab fee at cost.
We match solid colors to the mill's stock shades first. A shade dyed to your swatch costs $80–150 and adds 5–7 days. For prints, you can pick one of the mill's designs or have your own artwork printed digitally onto white swim fabric.

Factory prices
Chinese factories charge $3–17 a piece for custom swimwear in runs of 50–500. Freight and US duty are extra. Underwire, prints and long sleeves push a style toward the top of its range. At 300–500 pieces, a factory charges up to a third less a piece than for its smallest run.
| Style | Factory price each, October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Bikini set | $4–12 |
| One-piece swimsuit | $6–13 |
| Tankini or swim dress | $5–12 |
| Burkini set | $5–17 |
| Rash guard | $5–12 |
| Men's swim trunks or board shorts | $4–15 |
| Kids' swimsuit or rash guard | $3–13 |
| Beach cover-up | $6–16 |

US duty
October 2026 duty on swimwear from China is the normal rate plus Section 301 tariffs of 20 percentage points. You pay exactly the duty charged at US entry.
A rash guard can pay a higher duty rate than the swim bottom sold with it. In ruling NY N288804, US Customs and Border Protection classed a girl's polyester-spandex rash guard as a knit shirt.
| From China, October 2026 | US duty |
|---|---|
| Women's or girls' knit swimsuit, synthetic fiber | 44.9% |
| Men's or boys' knit swim trunks, synthetic fiber | 45.9% |
| Men's woven polyester board shorts | 47.8% |
| Girl's rash guard classed as a knit shirt | 52% |
