We can work from your logo in AI, PDF or SVG format, or from a PNG at 300 dpi. We send proofs of the woven neck label, care label and hang tag within two business days. Weaving starts once you approve them. It runs alongside sourcing and doesn't push back delivery.

A garment sold in the US needs four things on its labels: fiber content, care instructions, the country of origin and the name of a business responsible for it. That business can be your boutique, named in full or by the RN the FTC issues to it. On a garment with a neck, "Made in China" has to appear on the front of a label sewn midway between the shoulder seams.

Once your boutique's name is on the label, the fiber content printed there is your responsibility. The FTC doesn't accept a guaranty from a supplier outside the US as a defense when it charges a US importer with mislabeling. Blends may vary from their stated percentages by up to 3% of total fiber weight. Single-fiber labels, such as 100% cotton, get no tolerance at all. Check the fiber-content label in our inspection photos before you release the order. If you plan to advertise a garment as 100% one fiber, have the fabric lab-tested first.

Order pricing

A swimwear start-up was buying its suits from a US reseller who marked up the factory price. When we bought its first 150 suits straight from a factory we had vetted, the landed cost of a suit fell 31%. The brand's own woven labels and logo-printed polybags came in the same order.

Custom styles

Custom (Made to Order) orders start from a sketch and run from 50 pieces in each color. The design and its pattern belong to you. You pay a 30% deposit up front and the rest after you've reviewed the inspection photos.
